Are you looking for a magical July 4th celebration? Get a taste of Disney a little closer to home with the Lawrenceville Tourism and Trade Association and the Aurora Theatre. On July 3, they will present a concert of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast for the fifth annual Prelude to the 4th celebration on the lawn of the Historic Courthouse in Lawrenceville.
Seating begins at 5 p.m. with the performance starting at 7:30 p.m. The cast, directed by Freddie Ashley and staring Catlin Smith as Belle and Aurora’s artistic director Anthony Rodriguez as the Beast, will perform songs from the hit musical, which include “Be Our Guest,” and the title song, ‘Beauty and the Beast.” The musical concert will include a full orchestra led by Ann-Carol Pence, Associate Producer and Resident Musical Director. A fireworks celebration will conclude the evening.
