The Normal Heart Annouces National Tour

The Normal HeartThe Normal Heart has announced that it plans a national tour as well as a production in London’s West End.  More details about both productions are to be announced later.

Would you like to see this production in an Atlanta theater?  Write, email or call your favorite tour showing company (Broadway Across America, Theater of the Stars or the Gas South Broadway Series) and ask them to bring the show to Atlanta.  We will try to get you information to write to the producers of the tour as well.

Currently, playing on Broadway until July 10, Larry Kramer’s The Normal Heart tells the story of the beginning of the Aid’s crisis in New York City.  The story of a city in denial, The Normal Heart unfolds like a real-life political thriller—as a tight-knit group of friends refuses to let doctors, politicians and the press bury the truth of an unspoken epidemic behind a wall of silence. The play recently won the Tony Award® for Best Revival of a Play as well as Best Featured Actor and Actress awards for Ellen Barkin and John Benjamin Hickey.
