First Annual Atlanta Theater Fan Award Winners Announced

After an impressive turnout for the first annual Atlanta Theater Fan Awards voting, its time to announce the winners. These awards give the audience a voice in recognizing outstanding achievement during the theater season.

Leading with the most wins, the Alliance Theatre received five awards including a Best Musical win for Bring It On: The Musical. Theatre in the Square’s The Little Foxes won best play, while Broadway Across America’s presentation of West Side Story won the award for Best Touring Show.

Jessica Phelps West received two awards: one for her direction of Theatrical Outfit’s The Young Man from Atlanta and one for Best Leading Actress in a Play for her performance as Regina in The Little Foxes.
