Wendell Brock has reviewed Fabrefaction Theatre’s production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street for the AJC, giving it a grade of B-.
Brock wirtes that the theater “delivers a moving and admirable Sweeney Todd.” In addition, he praises Clint Thornton in the role of Sweeney Todd, writing that he is an “excellent Sweeney; behind his tortured visage and powerful baritone (who knew?) lurks a modicum of tenderness that is sweetly affecting.” Brock also commends Trey Getz’s performance as Anthony.
