ART Station Announces New Program


The ART Station Contemporary Arts Center in Stone MountainVillage is proud to announce a new art program entitled “Wednesday Morning Art Party.”

The first “Wednesday Morning Art Party” will be held on January 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the ART Station Contemporary Ar tCenter located at 5384 Manor Drive in Stone MountainVillage.

The “Wednesday Morning Art Party” begins with morning drinks, coffee and coffee cake and includes a “meet the artist” tour of the ART Station Galleries. Participants then move to the three Arts Incubator Galleries and Studios for demonstrations by the artists and gallery talks. The morning ends with a lunch at the newest arts incubator site, Kalonji’s Café and Bakery onMain Street.

Participation in the event is by reservation only and requires a $29 fee per person. The fee includes morning drinks, four gallery tours, three artist demonstrations and lunch.

Wednesdays are known as “Hump Day” and what better way to get over the “hump” of the week than going to an Art Party. What’s an art party? It’s a mid week, mid morning celebration of the arts in Stone Mountain Village. You arrive at ART Station at 10 a.m. for Mimosa’s, coffee, and coffee cake. There’s a guided tour through the ART Station galleries; then the party moves to the three Arts Incubator sites where there will be artist demonstrations and gallery talks. The morning ends with a delightful lunch at Kalonji’s, our new Bakery, Gallery and Café.
