ART Station in Stone Mountain Village is pleased to present the Lunchtime Series presentation at ART Station from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. This series strives to create a fresh and stimulating monthly lunchtime option for area residents and business professionals. Each Lunchtime presentation showcases an exciting performance, lecture or art experience and offers a boxed-lunch for a ticket price of $10. On Monday, May 21, the ART Station presentation is a selection of stories from David Hirt’s “Southern Voices.”
Enjoy lunch at ART Station while you are engaged by Master Storyteller, David Hirt, as he performs excerpts from his one-man show, “Southern Voices.” This show will be produced on the ART Station stage June 7 through 17, 2012. In this performance, Master Storyteller David Hirt delves into the many facets of the south with his unique brand of humor, insights and characters. “Southern Voices” takes a quirky look at our region through its history, characters and stories that have made the south one of the most enviable places to live and visit. This journey through the eyes of “just plain folks” of the South promises to be amusing, perceptive and entertaining.
Tickets are $10 for the presentation & boxed lunch and $5 for the presentation only. Water, ice tea & lemonade will be provided at no additional charge.
