Academy Theatre Interns Present Improv Show and Staged Readings July 19th

The Academy Theatre’s Summer Interns will perform hilarious improvisation and perform staged readings that they have created July 19th at 7:30 P.M.

“They’ve been practicing their craft and really working hard! This is a chance for them to show off a bit and let Atlanta see how good they really are!”, says Academy Artistic Director Robert Drake.

The evening will begin with a short form improv set, followed by staged readings written & directed by the interns themselves. From scenes of confrontation, to the existential condition of ducks, there will be great moments for the audience to enjoy!

This summer’s interns include: Tabby Stott, Chance Caruthers, Julie Skrzypek, Carly Zucker, Camile Jenkins, and Esther Franklin.

The Academy Theatre has launched countless Atlanta performers including Chris Kaiser, Tim Stoltenberg, Gary Williams, and Paige Steadman.

The Academy remains the most affordable ticket in town! On line tickets for this event are only $5!
