ART Station has shared photos of their production of Neil Simon’s I Ought to Be in Pictures. One of Neil Simon’s best plays focuses on Herb Tucker, a writer’s blocked Hollywood scriptwriter who abandoned his New York family 16 years earlier. He and girlfriend, Steffy, are surprised when his forgotten past reappears in the form of Libby, his bold, adventurous teenage daughter who’s hitch-hiked all the way from Brooklyn with dreams of movie stardom. Herb decides to take another stab at fatherhood.
The show, which runs through August 19, stars Bryan Brendle as Herb, Wendy Melkonian as Steffy and Eliana Marianes as Libby. For tickets and more information, please visit the theater’s website.
