About The Comedians
BlackTop Improv Group
BlackTop Improv Group started in 1997 in Atlanta as the only all African-American improv troupe. Since then BlackTop has become one of the most requested and respected comedy acts in the country. It is the only improv troupe in the nation that has six internationally known stand-up comedians that have appeared on BET, HBO and Comedy Central. With quick wit and imagination, BlackTop instantly creates funny scenes using suggestions from the crowd. The BlackTop Improv show is unique because the audience is involved in the creation of every scene. BlackTop Improv is an entertainment favorite for many comedy industry showcases and festivals like the Urban Comedy Festival, Laffapalooza, Learn through Laughter and The Improv in Los Angeles. The Blacktop Improv Group is tried and tested funny.
