STAGE DOOR PLAYERS, Dunwoody’s own professional theatre company, presents the comedy drama, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. Book and Lyrics by Joe DiPietro, Music by Jimmy Roberts.

Opening March 22 and running through April 14. Performance showtimes are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 2:30 p.m.

This musical celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that enigma known as “the relationship.” Exploring the journey from dating and waiting to love and marriage, to the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, this hilarious revue pays tribute to those, young and old, who have loved and lost, and have dared to ask, “Say, what are you doing Saturday night?”

Off-Broadway’s phenomenal longest-running musical celebrates the modern-day suburban mating game. Audiences fill the theatre with laughter as the cast explores the joys of dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives, and in-laws.

The hilarious I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE has played more than 4,500 performances, surpassing the Broadway runs of such musicals as “My Fair Lady,” “Annie,” “Oklahoma!,” “Grease,” “Man of La Mancha,” “42nd Street,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “The Producers,” and “Hello, Dolly!”

Additional productions of “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change have been mounted in more than 400 cities worldwide including Los Angeles, Toronto, Boston, Chicago, London, Tel Aviv, Mexico City, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Budapest, Sydney, Prague, Seoul, Milan, Rio de Janeiro, Johannesburg, Dublin, Buenos Aires, Berlin, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, and Taipei.

Stage Door Players production is Directed and Choreographed by Don Farrell, with Musical Direction by Peter Hauenstein and features Laura Floyd, Erin Meadows, Craig Waldrip and Jeremy Wood.

The Production team includes Jim Alford (Costume Design), Dan Bauman (Sound Design), Courtney Loner (Production/Stage Manager), Michael Magursky (Lighting Design), Chuck Welcome (Scenic Design), and Hampton Whatley (Technical Director).
