This Christmas season join Serenbe Playhouse as we haul out more holly than we can carry and stuff our stockings till they overflow with Naughty and Nice, starring two of Atlanta’s brightest musical theatre stars, Ingrid Cole and Glenn Rainey. Audiences in search of some warmth in December don’t need to look any further, as Glenn and Ingrid will fill each heart with a song and a sleigh full of laughs. This holiday cabaret will feature some new spins on holidays favorites, as well as classic tunes that even the Grinch himself couldn’t help but love.
Ingrid and Glenn have both been delighting audiences around Atlanta (and across the country) for a multitude of years, turning in award winning performances in some of theatre’s greatest musicals. Ms. Cole has starred in productions of Gypsy (Atlanta Lyric Theatre, 2012 Suzi Bass Award – Lead Actress in a Musical,) A Catered Affair (Auroua Theatre, 2010 Suzi Bass Award – Lead Actress in a Musical,) and across the United States in Menopase the Musical. Mr. Rainey has been seen on Broadway as Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast (also the first national tour,) as Nicely-Nicely Johnson in the national tour of Guys and Dolls (which he recently recreated for Atlanta Lyric Theatre) and as Edna in Hairspray (Atlanta Lyric Theatre, 2010 Suzi Bass Award – Lead Actor in a Musical.)
Naughty and Nice will be presented December 7, 14 and 21 at 9 pm at The Farmhouse resturant at the Inn at Serenbe. Tickets are $25 for the show, or $50 for dinner at The Farmhouse before the show (dinner includes dessert and a cocktail.) Pre-show dinner reservations are required.
