Marguerite Hannah to perform in the ART Station Cabaret on February 15


The ART Station Cabaret Theatre will present Marguerite Hannah at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 15 in the new Cabaret Theatre located at 5384 Manor Drive in Stone Mountain Village.

The Cabaret is located in the ART Station Contemporary Arts Center in Stone Mountain Village and features the best in Atlanta Cabaret.  The Cabaret is in the shape of a vintage trolley car, taking its inspiration from the 1913 Trolley Car Barn building in which ART Station is located.

Marguerite Hannah has walked the boards of some of America’s great theatres. She was recognized for her performance in the one-woman show “Lady Day at Emerson Bar and Grill” which played to sold-out audiences at ART Station for 12 weeks. She is noteful for her Billie Holiday repertoire. Marguerite has also originated roles in “Shakin’ the Mess Outta Misery,” “Constant Star,” “Night Blooms,” “A Cool Drink a Water” and The Waffle Palace. Marguerite received a Back Stage West 1997 Garland Award for Best Ensemble Performance in “Blues for an Alabama Sky” at Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

The Cabaret Cover Charge is $15 and includes one Bellini Cocktail.  Appetizers, desserts and bar drinks are available prior to and during the cabaret performances.  Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for drinks, snacks and desserts.  The First set begins at 8:15 p.m.  The Second set begins at 9:15.  Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
