ABOUT THE ODD COUPLE
This Tony Award-winning comedy opens as a group of the guys are assembled for cards in the apartment of divorced Oscar Madison, and if the mess is any indication, it’s no wonder that his wife left him. Late to arrive is Felix Unger–recently separated from his wife. Fastidious, depressed, and none too tense, Felix seems suicidal, but as the action unfolds (with hilarious results), the clean-freak and the slob decide to room together and Oscar becomes the one with murder on his mind!
The production/design team includes Rial Ellsworth (Sound Design), Rachel Hamilton (Props Design), Chuck Welcome (Scenic Design), Hampton Whatley (Production Manager), John David Williams (Lighting Design), and Liz Wittemore (Costume Design). The show is Stage Managed by Hayley Brotherton.
Tickets start at $27 and are available online at http://www.stagedoorplayers.net/ or by calling the box office at (770) 396-1726.
Senior, student and youth discounts are available.
Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm, and Sundays at 2:30pm. There is also one Thursday evening performance on July 31.
