Theater Bits Blog – Casting Call for Aurora Theatre’s Children Roles


The search is on! Aurora Theatre is seeking child actors to star in its annual production of Les Misérables, January 15 – March 1, 2015! With the help of Synchronicity Theatre, Aurora is looking to cast two young girls and one young boy, who appear to be between the ages of 7 to 11.  Available roles include young Gavroche, young Eponine and young Cosette. Rehearsals are set to begin at Synchronicity Theatre on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Set in 19th century France, the extraordinary story examines heartbreak, sacrifice and love, making it one of the most celebrated musicals of all time. Children invited to audition for Aurora Theatre’s “Les Misérables” based on the novel by Victor Hugo and music from Claude-Michel Schonberg.

HOW:                  Aurora is looking for children who appear to be between the ages of 7 to 11 and are 56 inches or shorter, Asian or Pacific descent is suggested for the role of young Eponine.
