Replace your regular holiday tradition with a Dad’s Garage tradition – kicking classic theatre in the tookus! After five years of success, the award-winning Dad’s Garage Ensemble will be returning to the stage starting Friday, Nov. 29 at 8pm (this time to Fabrefaction Theatre and The Alliance) to skewer the quintessential Christmas play – A Christmas Carol! You’ll see your favorite characters acting in ways that might not be so familiar as our improvisers create a whole new holiday experience right before your very eyes. Every evening the audience will choose a new “invader” (who is complete surprise to the cast and can be anything from a giant purple monster to Miley Cyrus) to infiltrate the world of Scrooge. It’s up to the cast to keep the story on track, but because this year will be bursting with even more improv flavor than last year, things are guaranteed to get even nuttier than a Cornish game hen!
Bonus Fact: Most Cornish game hens tend to be more on the gamey side than the nutty side.
CAST: Karen Cassady, Matt Horgan, Mark Kendall, Rueben Medina, Leslie Sharp, and Dad’s Garage Artistic Director Kevin Gillese as Scrooge!
