2011 Atlanta Theater Fan Award Nominations

Fans, you voted and now its time to see your nominations for the 2011 Atlanta Theater Fan Awards! In 18 categories, you selected the best of the best for the past Atlanta theatre season.

Leading with the most nominations for a musical, the Alliance Theatre’s Bring It On: The Musical received 10 nominations. August: Osage County (also produced by the Alliance Theatre) tied with Theatre in The Square’s The Little Foxes for the most nominations for a production of a play with 7 nominations each.

Three individuals received two nominations each. Andy Blankenbuehler received nominations for the direction and choreography of Bring It On: The Musical. While Leslie Taylor received nominations for her scenic design of August: Osage County and costume design for Georgia Shakespeare’s The Tempest, Jessica Phelps West received nominations for her direction of Theatrical Outfit’s The Young Man from Atlanta and performance as Regina in The Little Foxes.
