Atlanta Theater Fans have voted, and the winners of 2013 Atlanta Theater Fan Awards are announced. The annual Atlanta Theater Fan Awards are determined solely by the votes of fans. These awards give the public an opportunity to recognize outstanding achievement for Atlanta’s professional theaters.

Leading with the most wins for a theater, Actor’s Express has earned six awards, garnering wins for Kiss of the Spiderwoman and Wolves. In the musical categories, the Alliance Theatre’s American premiere of Zorro tops the list with five wins, including Best Musical. Horizon Theatre’s production of Times Stands Still has won the most awards of any play with four awards, including Best Play.

Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta continues its winning streak for Best Touring Production with its 2013 win for War Horse. Horizon Theatre’s The Santaland Diaries wins for Best Holiday Show for the second year in a row. Serenbe Playhouse’s popular production of The Velveteen Rabbit received the award for Best Family/Children’s Show.
